Sea World Research & Rescue Foundation recently donated $1000 at the annual Australian Marine Sciences Association conference.
The winner of the 2015 conference held in Geelong, Victoria was Kim Kliska from Macquarie University. Kim presented her current masters project that focuses on the changes over time in the diet of Australian fur seals located in the Bass Strait.
Kim has a diverse background working in outdoor education, protected area management and research. Currently employed with Phillip Island Nature Parks in Victoria Kim has, developed an interest in ecology of marine wildlife. She is now completing a Masters in Research at Macquarie University in collaboration with Phillip Island Nature Parks.
