Criteria for Participation

All Sea World Animal Adventure programs are subject to the below Terms and Conditions and our Cancellation and Refund policy. Furthermore, each Animal Adventure program has a strict participation criteria, which is outlined below for each program.

When booking an Animal Adventure program, participants acknowledge that they agree to the conditions outlined below in conjunction with the participation criteria for the Animal Adventure in which they are going to undertake.

If you have purchased an Animal Adventure on another person’s behalf, then you must make available or known to them the conditions outlined below. By their attendance they shall be deemed to have accepted them. Where a person purchases an Animal Adventure for a minor the purchaser shall be responsible for accepting the conditions and is deemed to be the authorised representative for the minor.

Please note that Sea World Guest Services is a cashless facility. For guests wishing to book Animal Adventure via Guest Services, all major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Subject to the same Terms & Conditions as noted above for Sea World Animal Adventures. Criteria for participation outlined below:

Participants:
• must be 14 years of age or over.
• must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. There are no complimentary programs for translators. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria.
• must be competent swimmers/able to swim unaided.
• must have controlled motor movement.
• must be able to follow directional hand signals of staff outlined in the briefing.
• must be able to quickly exit the acrylic cage unassisted.
• must not have any open cuts or infections.
• must read and acknowledge all health risks (some medical conditions will prohibit participation). Refer to link below.
• if pregnant, participants must not be further than 3 months.
