Rescue Date: July 2006
Sex: Male

Jules was stranded at Julian Rocks, Byron Bay in July 2005. He was found tangled in marine pollution, which had severely injured his right flipper. "In order for Jules to make a full recovery, the tip of his wing had to be amputated. With his swimming ability hindered he was not able to be released.

Victor was originally rescued by the Australian Marine Wildlife Research and Rescue Organisation (AMWRRO) in South Australia. He arrived at Sea World in August 2017.

Bailey was also originally rescued by the Australian Marine Wildlife Research and Rescue Organisation (AMWRRO) in South Australia. He arrived at Sea World in August 2017.

Penguin Point Environment

  • The welfare and wellbeing of the animals is our highest priority at Sea World.
  • The Penguins who reside at Sea World are ambassador animals who educate and inspire our guests to make change in their lives to help conserve their species.
  • Penguin Point is designed to meet the Little Blue Penguins needs and features a pool for swimming, burrows for nesting, sleeping and substrates to explore.

Animal Adventures

Penguin Antarctic Adventure

Land-Based Animal Adventure
  • Step onto the ice in the Penguin Encounter exhibit and experience an Antarctic-themed adventure.
  • Behind-the-scenes tour with Penguin Keepers.
  • Interact with King Penguins and Gentoo Penguins.
  • Engage in penguin activities, which may include feeding or enrichment programs.
  • Ages 8-13 years: Must be accompanied by an 18+ guardian (maximum 2 children per guardian).
  • Sea World admission not included with Animal Adventures ticket.

Behind the Scenes at Polar Bear Shores

Behind The Scenes
  • See the only Polar Bears in Australia.
  • Go behind the scenes at Polar Bear Shores on this guided journey of discovery.
  • Learn about their abilities, environmental importance and how we care for them at Sea World.
  • Ages 5-8 years: Must be accompanied by a full-paying adult (18+ years). Maximum 2 children per adult.
  • Ages 9-13 years: Must be accompanied by a full-paying adult (14+ years). Maximum 1 child per adult (14-17yr adult).
  • Sea World admission not included with Animal Adventures ticket.

Dolphin Family Adventure

Water-Based Animal Adventure
  • Shallow water interaction with dolphins and a Marine Mammal Specialist.
  • Fun and educational experience with an opportunity to create memorable moments.
  • Each experience will be unique and tailored to the dolphins' behaviour and engagement.
  • Minimum: 1 adult and 1 child (4-13 years old, minimum 102cm height).
  • Maximum: 4 participants, including at least one eligible child.
  • Sea World admission not included with Animal Adventures ticket.
