Enjoy the whip cracking spectacular as a huge variety of Australia’s most cherished animals delight and entertain you. Watch skilled stockmen and women muster herds of cattle and take in the, take in the specially trained horses as they wow you with their tricks and see working dogs herd up to fifty Merino sheep.


Enjoy a sumptuous three-course Aussie BBQ dinner inspired by the bush and Australian outback produce. Every taste bud is catered for from meat lovers, to children and vegetarians. You’ll also be served a choice of beer, wine or soft drink throughout the show.


Australian Outback Spectacular’s magnificent 52-piece Orchestra will have you on the edge of your seat with music inspired by Australia’s outback. Be enthralled with scores composed exclusively for the show by some of Australia’s most celebrated musicians including Lee Kernaghan as well as popular country songs performed by the talented cast members.

Sound and Lighting

The purpose built arena will have you immersed in the action with its state of the art Entertainment Technology. You will experience the outback like never before with a lighting system of over 300 fixtures, an audio system that you’ll not only hear, but feel and the latest in high definition digital projection.

Australian Outback Spectacular is located on the Gold Coast in the southeast corner of the Australian State of Queensland, just a 20-minute drive north of Surfers Paradise and 45 minutes south of Brisbane.

How to get there

  • Car from Brisbane
    From Brisbane, follow the signs to the Pacific Motorway and the Gold Coast. Take Exit 60 to Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World. Pass under the Motorway and turn left at the traffic lights.

    Free car parking is available at the front of the attraction.
  • Car from Surfers Paradise
    From Surfers Paradise, drive along the Gold Coast Highway to Smith Street and follow the signs to Brisbane and the Pacific Motorway. Take Exit 60 to Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World. Turn left at the traffic lights.
  • Bus
    Gold Coast:

    For information about train services from the Gold Coast or Brisbane to Helensvale station, and bus connections to the Australian Outback Spectacular, visit or call Surfside Buslines on131 230, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

For the safety of the riders and their horses, and all the other performers, video cameras, photography with or without flash and mobile phones cannot be used at any time throughout the show.

Strobe effect and lighting are also used in the production. The Show involves levels of noise similar to that experiences at a movie cinema and may affect guests known to be hypersensitive to noise.

Admission is free for children 2 years or under (not including seat and meal). A full child rate is applicable for children aged 3 - 13 years inclusive or for children 2 years and under where an individual seat and meal is to be served.

A limited number of seats are available for guests in wheelchairs. Bookings for guests in wheelchairs and guests with special seating requirements cannot be made online. Please telephone 13 33 86 to make a telephone booking.

Pensioner prices only available to Australian and New Zealand residents. Check eligibility.

You are required to select the show date and show time you wish to book. Seating is allocated at the time of booking. If you wish to be seated with family or friends who have booked separately please telephone 13 33 86 to make your booking as we cannot accommodate this request with online bookings.
