Storm Coaster

There’s a storm brewing at Sea World and it’s going to be a big one! Experience a ride the whole family will enjoy as you’re taken on a thrilling journey through a storm ravaged container port. Featuring amazing water and fire effects, ride out the Storm with your family and friends this Summer

Henry - The Polar Bear cub

Come and meet Sea World's gorgeous baby Polar Bear, Henry. This gorgeous bundle of fluff has just graduated from Polar Pre-School to Polar Bear Shores, not long after his 1st birthday. Don’t miss this special opportunity to get up close to this playful and inquisitive baby as he explores his home at Sea World.

Beach Break Bay

The Beach Break Bay has something for all the little kids. Try out the beach dump Trucks, the carousel and the Air Sea Explorer. Why not try out the Beach Ball bounce too!

Castaway Bar

This new attraction is for the whole family. This fun and interactive area has battler noats with 80 water cannonc and also a Sky Fortress for the little kids. If you like a challenge why not try the Sky Climb, where you are 12 meters above the ground! There is something for everyone.

Creatures From the Deep Coming Soon!

Get ready for a world-first experience coming to Sea World mid 2015. Featuring some of the most legendary sea creatures including the mythical Kraken this attraction will delight and amaze guests of all ages.

Dinosaur Island

Discover the long lost world of dinosaurs. This interactive attraction will give you an up close and personal look into some of the dinosaurs that walked the earth over 65 million years ago.

Dolphin Nursery Pool

You will have a chance to see baby dolphins at the Dolphin Nursery Pool.

Doras Best Friends Adventure Show

Go on an adventure with Dora and her trusty boots. follow her through the Rainbow Rock as you sing and dance! At Sea World, Dora the Explorer needs one special friend to explore with – YOU! Go on a musical adventure and join Dora and her trusty companion Boots as they set out to find their best friends...each other!

Jet Rescue

Join the Sea World Rescue team on an exciting mission to save our precious marine life on the all new Jet Rescue coaster.

Jet Stunt Extreme

Get a front row view of some of the best Jet Ski riders as they churn up the water to give you a show full of skill and entertainment. Watch as they do flips and tricks on top of and in the air!

NEW Affinity Dolphin Show

Celebrate the sun, surf and seas and go on a journey above and below the waves for an unforgettable experience with one of the world’s most intriguing animals. Discover the powerful affinity shared between these magical mammals and their human friends, and learn about how we can make a difference together to actively care for the precious life of the oceans.

New Kids Area Coming Soon!

Perfect for the littlies, Sea World will open an expanded kid’s area in late 2015. The multimillion dollar precinct will feature Sea World’s first ever mini rollercoaster plus an array of kid-sized rides. The fun filled zone will replace the current kid’s area and will include four brand new rides plus some of your favourites like the iconic carousel.

Penguin Encounter

Visit the penguin enclosure at Sea World and stand side by side a King penguin which stands over 1 meter tall. Along with the King penguins, you will see Gentoo penguins in a natural environment surrounded by rocks and ice with a crystal clear pool. There is also an underwater viewing area to see how they swim.

Penguin Point

Located at the northern end of Sea World, make sure you visit Penguin Point –where over 20 Fairy Penguins call home. See burrows and how they live in this purposely made enclosure.

Polar Bear

Come and say hello to Hudson and Nelson and see how polar bears live on one of the most advanced exhibits in the world. Again you can see them on land as well as in the water.

Ray Reef

At Ray Reef you will see a number of sting rays gliding along underwater. You can also have the opportunity to feed to stingrays.

Sea Viper

Take a ride on the Sea Viper to experience the triple loop-the-lopp track! Hold onto your hats.

Shark Bay

Sea World is host to the largest man made lagoon system for sharks. Here you will see sharks in an environment allowing you view Shark Bay is the world's largest man-made lagoon system for sharks and is home to some of the biggest sharks in the ocean. View from above or below the water.

Sky High Skyway and Sea World Monorail

Get a different view of the park from above on the Sky High Skywalk or the Sea World Monorail. You are able to travel from one of the park to the other getting an overall view of the all the rides and attractions on offer!

SpongeBob 3D

Ride a bubble through Bikini Bottom in search for the perfect Krabby Patty. Hang out with all the gang including Patrick, Plankton, and more....

Viking Revenge Flume Ride

Jump on board the 460meter floating ride ending with a big splash!

How to get there

  • Car
    From Surfers Paradise beach, drive along the Gold Coast Highway north and follow the signs to Sea World. From Southport, cross the Southport Bridge, turn left and follow the signs. If you’re travelling from Brisbane, follow the signs to the Pacific Motorway and the Gold Coast, take the Smith Street exit and follow the signs.

    There are plenty of free car parking spaces available at Sea World’s front entrance. Reserved parking is also available for disabled guests adjacent to the main gate.
  • Public Transport
    If you don’t have a car there are plenty of other transport options to get you to Sea World including:

    For information about train services from Brisbane of the Gold Coast to Helensvale Station, and bus connections to Sea World, visit or call 13 12 30, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
