Village Roadshow Theme Parks Pty Ltd ACN 010 919 623 (“we”, “us” or “our”) is the operator of Sea World Resort & Water Park (“the Resort”). We want you to enjoy your stay and ensure there are no surprises in relation to the booking or payment process or whilst you are staying at the Resort. We will provide accommodation and other services to you at the Resort subject to the following terms and conditions and ask that you please read them carefully because the person who makes the reservation will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons staying under that reservation at the Resort.
The person who makes the reservation (must be 18 years or over) is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons staying under that reservation. Any quote given when making a reservation is an estimate only. Price and reservation is only guaranteed once full payment is made and credit card charges processed. Total price of reservation comprises:-
No refunds are allowed. Credit card charge will appear as “Village Roadshow Theme Parks” on statement.
We may cancel or amend your reservation in the event of computer, website or system error resulting in incorrect room rate/details. We will advise you as soon as possible after we become aware of an error.
Requested changes to reservation are subject to availability of alternate room and payment of $25 amendment fee. Contact Reservations on 1300 139 677 or booking agent if not booked directly.
If you do not check-in to your room or cancel reservation after check-in you are not entitled to a refund and must pay total cost of reservation.
At check-in you must provide photographic identification which we copy and retain for security purposes. If you do not provide identification we may cancel reservation without refund or refer you to your booking agent.
To charge in-Resort purchases (restaurants, mini bar etc.) to your room’s account you must produce at check-in a valid credit card and pre-authorise $50 worth of charges. Credit limit of $750 applies to room charges. Upon reaching $750 a letter is sent to your room requesting you to pay all current charges in order to continue your credit facility. If a third party’s credit card is to be used by you to pay for purchases during stay then a Credit Card Authorisation Form must be completed and provided to us 7 days prior to check-in together with a clear photocopy of front and back of credit card. The signature on card must match signature on form. Illegible photocopy is not acceptable.
To pay for in-Resort purchases by cash you must pay a $200 security deposit at check-in. You are not able to charge any in-Resort purchases to your room. Security deposit will be returned to you by cash or EFTPOS (depending upon how initial payment made) upon check-out once mini bar is checked.
We may evict you from the Resort without refund in the event of inappropriate, offensive or unlawful behaviour.
Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas and NOT in Resort room or balcony. A cleaning fee is payable if you smoke in your room.
You are responsible for the security of your own personal property and park your vehicle in the Resort’s car park at your own risk.
Use of water park and attractions at Resort is at your sole risk. Parent, guardian or carer MUST directly supervise an infant or person under their care when using all facilities.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, to the extent permitted by law liability is limited to either resupply of the goods or services or the value of goods or services supplied.
Terms and conditions are governed by laws in force in Queensland and courts of appeal therefrom and are subject to any requirements at law to the contrary.
