Sea World Spooky Nights is Sea World’s after hours ticketed family event. The event starts at 5:30pm and transforms the park into a spooky land. Experience incredible precincts, spooktivities, shows and presentations, selected rides at night plus much more! Tickets must be pre-booked.
Guests can arrive at the park any time during operational hours on the day of their ticketed admission. By presenting their Sea World General Admission or Village Roadshow One Pass along with their Sea World Spooky Nights Admission, they will receive a wristband. This allows them to explore the park throughout the day and experience the spookiness come to life by night.

Sea World Spooky Nights guests can experience some of their favourite rides and attractions after dark. Check them out HERE!

Rides and attractions are subject to change to enable maintenance and some rides and attractions will not operate during inclement weather conditions. Please note queue lines may close earlier to allow attractions to finish in line with park closing times.
Sea World Spooky Nights is a family friendly event suitable for children of all ages and adults.
Sea World Spooky Nights will continue even in wet weather. Please note that during lightning and severe thunderstorms Sea World may temporarily suspend rides and attractions until they are safe to operate.
You can redeem your one free entry to Sea World Spooky Nights here. Select your ticket and date you wish to visit, then enter your One Pass ticket barcode no. in the giftcode field to redeem. (Tip: The ticket barcode no. can be found on your ticket within the Village Roadshow Theme Parks App or on your printed hard card).
You are welcome to wear costumes and light face make-up. No dangerous items or weapons may be brought into Sea World. Costumes with balloons are not permitted on-site due to animal welfare. Please remember this is a family event, please nothing too scary for the little ones! Note: Some costume pieces may need to be removed due to ride restrictions.
Food, beverage, eskies and coolers may not be brought into the park. Guests with special dietary requirements are exempt from this policy. No alcohol may be brought into Sea World.
No, however there are a number of public buses and taxis arriving and departing regularly. For more information regarding Gold Coast Surfside Buses please visit the website - www.translink.com.au or contact Trans Info on 13 12 30.
Some locations make use of visual and audio effects, including strobe lights and may not be suitable for guests with a history of vertigo, epilepsy, seizures, claustrophobia, heart disorders and high blood pressure.
No foldable chairs, trolleys, carts or wagons are permitted during the event.
The Sea World carpark can be a little spooky at the start and end of the night, we suggest arriving early to ensure you can start your adventure at 5:30pm. Alternative parking can be found on Seaworld Drive but please ensure you only park in designated council parking locations or you could be in for a fright. At the end of the night there may be some short delays exiting, however, our team will be there to assist clearing the carpark as quickly and as safely as possible. Alternatively, why not grab some ice-cream and have one last devilish bite before heading out while it clears.
