Details of the Program
This amazing experience offers you and your family the chance to create magical memories with some of Sea World’s inquisitive dolphins. You’ll get to interact with a dolphin and trainer together as a family, in a fun and educational shallow water encounter. You’ll get to see a variety of incredible dolphin behaviours that will display the beautiful nature of these mammals.
The Dolphin Family Adventure program is available to a family group with a minimum of one adult and one child (aged five to 13 years of age and a minimum height of 110 cm). The maximum number of participants is 6 and must include one child (aged five to 13 years of age and a minimum height of 110 cm). The cost regardless of number of participants is $749.00 per group.
Program duration is approximately 45 minutes with approximately 20 minutes in the water. All participants of this experience must hold a valid pass to enter the park.
The use of a supplied wet suit or rash vest and board shorts is required in all water-based programs and is included in the cost of the program. Swimwear must be worn underneath wet suits or rash vests and board shorts.
For the safety of the animals we do not permit jewellery to be worn on any Animal Adventures program.
Adults wishing to participate in a dolphin experience with other adults or with children aged 14 years and over need to book on the Dolphin Deep Adventure Water.
Participants are required to check-in at the Animal Adventures Centre (Map Ref Q3) one hour prior to the program start time.
Dolphin Family Adventure programs are available 7 days a week.All participants of this experience must hold a valid pass to enter the park.
- Minimum of one adult and one child (aged five to 13 years of age and a minimum height of 110cm). The maximum number of participants is 6 and MUST include one child (aged five to 13 years of age and a minimum height of 110cm)
- Participants must a minimum of 110cm in height. Children will be measured on the day of participation without footwear. If the child does not meet the height restriction they will not be able to participate and will not be eligible for a refund
- Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. There are no complimentary programs for translators. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria
- Participants must have controlled motor movement
- Guests must remove any visible jewellery that can be removed including but not limited to; necklaces, bracelets, ear rings, body piercings, religious and cultural ornamentation, hair clips and pins (a single hair band is permitted) or any other accessories deemed not suitable in the program environment
- Participants must follow directions quickly to the satisfaction of staff
- Participants must be able to quickly exit the pool area unassisted
- Based on medical advice, participants must not be pregnant
- Participants must not have any open cuts or infections
- Guests with disabilities are asked to call Customer Connect on 133 386 directly to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. Please note a limited number of special needs programs are available for people with disabilities that otherwise prohibit them from participating
All participants, or a legal guardian (18 years or over), will be required to sign a liability release form and criteria check-list before beginning the program
