Sea World is open all year round excluding Christmas Day (25 December). On Anzac Day, Sea World is open from 1:30pm.

You are not permitted to bring in food and drink including eskies and coolers. Guests with the following dietary requirements are exempt from this policy:
• Guests with allergies
• Infants and babies
• Pre booked education groups
You can bring in fruit and bottled water.
Coin-operated lockers are available for hire with costs ranging from $12.00 to $20.00 for a large size locker. Locker locations can be found in the Sea World Park Map.
Smoking, vaping and use of e-cigarettes are permitted in the park’s designated smoking areas only, no food or beverage may be consumed in designated smoking areas under Queensland Law.
The Gold Coast has a delightful subtropical climate. Average daytime temperature during summer (December to February) is 28 degrees Celsius. The average temperature in winter (June to August) is a very mild 21 degrees Celsius. Comfortable clothing and footwear is recommended for your day at Sea World. Hats and sunscreen are recommended year-round. A light jacket may be required in winter. Footwear is compulsory on all attractions. The parks are a casual, family-oriented environment. Ensuring that the parks are family friendly is an important part of the Sea World experience.
Inappropriate Attire: Attire that is not appropriate for the parks—and which may result in refusal of admittance—includes but is not limited to:- Costumes may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older
- Masks may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older (unless they are for medical purposes)
- Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics
