Meet the Seals

Carter
Species: Long-nosed Fur Seal (Arctocephalus forsteri)
Rescued in 2006 after stranding with a shark bite, Carter, bears a round scar and a missing rear flipper digit. Recognisable by his long whiskers (including two white ones), he’s a confident, energetic swimmer known for his playful personality and lively presence.

Tilly
Species: Subantarctic Fur Seal (Arctocephalus tropicalis)
Rescued in 2007 after stranding severely underweight, Tilly made a full recovery and is now known for her bold, curious nature. With long whiskers - especially on the left side - she’s small but fearless, always first to dive in and full of playful energy.
Exhibit Location
Seal Harbour is located towards the back of the park. Head past Shark Bay and Seal Harbour will be on your right hand side.
